Girl On A Roll: Tell us about your business and what services do you provide?

Anshul: I provide diet programs and counseling services for weight and therapeutic nutrition and health goals. My audience mainly comprises of urban women in the age group 25-55.

Girl On A Roll: How and why did you become an entrepreneur? Was it something you always intended for yourself?

Anshul: I was always fascinated with the human body and anatomy. After my own weight loss body transformation, I became very passionate about health and fitness and decided to take it up as my career so that I can help others also.

Girl On A Roll: How did you get where you are today? Tell us a little bit about your journey.

Anshul: I have a life-changing nutrition story. It ignited my passion for nutrition.

My journey to health and wellness started in 2003 when I lost 35kgs and regained my confidence and health.

I was a Delhi University topper in Biology so shifting my field to nutrition was organic. I attained a post-graduate degree in food and nutrition.

From there on I was set on a journey to motivate, counsel, and guide people on how eating right and balanced can help in achieving health and fitness goals.

I have a strong belief that by following basic principles one can achieve any desirable health goal. There is no magic when it comes to weight loss or managing a medical condition.

The rule is simple, if you want to be healthy, be on a desirable weight, get off those medicines, get rid of gas, bloating, etc then you need to put in efforts in the right direction and with the mindset that the changes you bring in are meant to be lifestyle changes.

Only then can one achieve maintainable lifelong good health and a fit body.

Girl On A Roll: What or who has been your greatest influence in business and why?

Anshul: I was highly inspired by Oprah Winfrey and Michelle Obama for the kind of work they have done for the betterment of society and especially in areas of improving one’s health and also loving one’s body.

Girl On A Roll: How do you achieve the work-life balance?

Anshul: We all need support partners for that. For me, it’s my family and my passion willpower which is always fed and supported by my prayers and meditation.

Preplanning has always helped me achieve the work life balance . Being disciplined and respecting time are other factors.

Girl On A Roll: Do you think women feel intimidated in the world of business?

Anshul: Yes, because largely industry and society norms have been such that a women won’t commit for long as she will be responsible for home and children duties but things are changing and we have many success stories of women managing and striking a balance and changing stereotypes.

Girl On A Roll: To what do you attribute your success?

Anshul: My passion to get closer to my aims. To focus on quality and not taking any opportunity as small.

Girl On A Roll: What is the biggest challenge you faced and what did you do to overcome it?

Anshul: To be able to manage all the different roles of setting up a brand online.

To overcome I set short goals to keep major time for my quality work for clients. Unrealistic goals lead to disappointment.

Girl On A Roll: If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be?  What’s your biggest piece of advice for female entrepreneurs?

Anshul: One should preplan and strategize how they would want to grow. One should focus on quality first and then volumes. Never rush into things.

Keep exploring, learning and never be shy to try new horizons and zones.
